Winzip en eski dosya sıkıştırma programlarından birisidir. Aslında herkesin yakından tanıdığı program oldukça yaygın olarak kullanılıyor. WinZip Computing firması gelişen teknolojiye paralel olarak kendi yazılımı olan winzip’i de geliştirmeyi sürdürüyor. Winzip 14 windows 7 ile bütünleşebiliyor ve windows 7 işletim sisteminin tüm yeteneklerinden faydalanabiliyor.
